Acco Space μ はアートの町、北加賀屋に新しくオープンしたアートとエンターテイメントのためのオルタナティブスペース(*)及び、ジャンルに捉われない様々なダンスレッスンを提供する総合ダンススタジオです。
週末はダンスや演劇など多種多様な表現活動の発信の場に。また平日は主にダンスという身体表現を通し多様な感性を育む場として活動していきます。
Acco Space μでは自主企画を行うと共に、ご利用しやすい料金で様々な団体、個人の方々への貸し出しをしています。本番公演はもちろん、リハーサル、ワークショップ、クリエーションやリサーチなどでのご利用も可能です。また、企画の持ち込みや共同での制作などのご相談も随時受け付けております。ぜひお気軽にお問い合わせ下さい。
オルタナティブスペース(*)
映像、音楽、美術、演劇など、新しいスタイルのアートやパフォーマンスを行う場。オルタナティブ・スペースには、新しいパフォーマンスを試みているアーティストや、パフォーマンスができる空間を探しているアーティストが集まってくるため、オルタナティブ・スペースは先鋭的なアーティストたちの「たまり場」とされている。
ギリシャ文字の12番目「μ」には「最小」という意味があります。また、この音を持つフランス語に「mieux」という、英語の「Better」に当たる言葉があります。
ART(芸術）と一言で言い表せてしまうその奥には、ものすごい種類の気の遠くなるような数の作品たちが存在します。一人の人間が出会うアート作品の数は知れているけれど、その作品、そのアーティストに出会うということは何かしら運命的なものを感じませんか？AccoSpace μは、アートに携わる人々が気軽に出会い、触れられる場所として、それぞれの才能と個性を輝かせるために、たとえ大劇場のような豪華で壮大な規模ではない小さなスペースでも『Artistic Crossed（＝芸術的に交錯し）、Collaborate（=協力する）、そしてより良いものを作り出し、出会う』を実現できるスペースとして存在することを目的としています。

近畿大学舞台芸術専攻卒業。Peridance Capezio Centerへ留学後、ニューヨークを中心にダンサー として活動。Marijke Eliasberg, Jana Hicks, Julia Ehrstrand, Lane Gifford, Valeria Valleto 他多数 の振付家の作品に出演。 現在は関西を拠点にダンサー及び振付家として国内外にて活動の幅を広げている。
また後進の指導、育成にも積極的に取り組んでおり、過去にPeridance Capezio Center、Joffrey ballet school、Steps on Broadway、Broadway Dance Center、Seed Dance Company、台南應用 科技大学にて指導及びアシスタント経験を持つ。
Suzuka Matsumoto has trained in ballet and contemporary technique and choreography at Major of the performing arts in Kinki University. After graduated with a B.A. degree, she has also trained at Peridance Capezio Center and she has been worked with Jana Hicks, Marijke Eliasberg, Julia Ehrstrand, Lane Gifford, Valeria Gonzalez and various artists in NYC. She also has experiences in teaching and assisting contemporary class in Peridance Capezio Center, Joffrey Ballet School, Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center and Tainan University of Technology. Currently she has worked as a dancer, choreographer and also teacher based in Japan and abroad.
AccoDance主宰／ダンサー・振付家・指導者
神戸市の貞松・浜田バレエ団に10年間所属し、古典クラシックからコンテンポラリーまで幅広いパートを踊り、プロとしてのキャリアを築いた。在団中には、ラリオ・エクソン、ユーリ・ン、ニコライ・フョードロフ、スタントン・ウェルチ、貞松正一郎、加藤きよ子など、世界各国の著名な振付家たちとの共同制作を経験。
退団後、ニューヨーク（NY）へ渡り、Dance New AmsterdamやSteps on Broadway等で本格的にコンテンポラリーダンスを学び、芸術性を深めた。Max Stone、Diane McCarthy、Jana Hicks、Heather McCardle、Oliver Steele、Emily Berryら、それぞれ独自のスタイルを持つ優れた振付家やカンパニーのもとで踊る機会を得て、多大な影響を受けた。アーティストとして米国の滞在ビザを取得し、NYのCRSスタジオとスポンサー契約を結ぶ。以来、ダンサー、コレオグラファー、ダンスインストラクターとしてNYを拠点にフリーランスで活動。NYをはじめ、ヨーロッパ、日本で多数の舞台や作品に出演した。2011年には、第50回NYフィルムフェスティバル選出作品である映画『Frances Ha』にダンサーとしてエキストラ出演を果たした。
インストラクターとしては、貞松浜田バレエ学園での指導経験を基盤に、渡米後にサイモンソンメソッドの教授資格を取得。2010年以降、NYのSteps On Broadway、Dance New Amsterdam（現Gibney Dance）、Peridance Center、Joffery Ballet Schoolのほか、スウェーデンのUniversity of Dance and Circus、Dance Forumなど、国内外の著名なダンス教育機関でコンテンポラリーダンスとクラシックバレエを指導した経歴を持つ。
振付家としては2009年より本格的に活動を開始。NYのDance New Amsterdam Theater、Chen Dance Center、City Center Studio、Tank Theaterなどの大小多数の劇場、スウェーデンのDance Forum、東京のセッションハウスなどでも作品を発表している。ガラスアーティストのオガイミホ氏とのインスタレーションを使ったアートコラボレーションや、アートパフォーマンス”B’cause”の共同主催など、ジャンルや枠組みを超えたクリエイティブ活動を展開した。
現在は日本に帰国し、活動の基盤を関西へ移している。ダンス講師、パフォーマー、コレオグラファーとして、大阪心斎橋のダンススタジオポイント、Acco Space μ、Box169、上杉真由バレエスタジオなどで、NYスタイル・コンテンポラリーダンスのクラスを開講。ジュニアからプロフェッショナルまで、幅広い層を対象に指導にあたっている。
2019年に結成したプロジェクトベースのコンテンポラリーダンスカンパニー、Artistic Crosse Collaborators of Dance（AccoDance）を主宰。現代舞踊協会主催のCreative Spaceに2024年、2025年と二年連続で選出されるなど、精力的に活動の幅を広げている。
長年、大阪府立枚方なぎさ高校の特別非常勤講師を務め、精華大学、大阪体育大学ダンス部での特別講座、大阪女子体連盟主催のダンスガラOSAKAでの審査員など、教育現場での活動実績も豊富である。
AccoDance Director / Dancer, Choreographer, Instructor
She established her professional career after joining the Sadamatsu-Hamada Ballet Company in Kobe for ten years, performing a wide range of roles from classical ballet to contemporary works. During her tenure with the company, she had the opportunity to work with world-renowned choreographers, including Larrio Ekson, Yuri Ng, Nikolai Fiodorov, Stanton Welch, Shoichiro Sadamatsu, and Kiyoko Kato.
Following her departure, she moved to New York (NY) and immersed herself in the study of contemporary dance at institutions such as Dance New Amsterdam and Steps on Broadway, deepening her artistry. She received extensive influence and gained performing opportunities with exceptional choreographers and companies possessing unique styles, including Max Stone, Diane McCarthy, Jana Hicks, Heather McCardle, Oliver Steele, and Emily Berry. After obtaining a U.S. Artist Visa, she secured a sponsorship contract with CRS Studio in NY. Since then, she has worked as a freelance dancer, choreographer, and dance instructor based in NY, performing in numerous productions across NY, Europe, and Japan. In 2011, she appeared as an extra dancer in the film ‘Frances Ha,’ which was selected for the 50th NY Film Festival.
As an instructor, she built up on her experience teaching classical technique at the Sadamatsu-Hamada Ballet School. After moving to the U.S., she obtained the Simonson Method teaching certification. Since 2010, she has instructed contemporary dance and classical ballet at prominent dance institutions both domestically and internationally, including NY’s Steps On Broadway, Dance New Amsterdam (now Gibney Dance), Peridance Center, and Joffrey Ballet School, as well as the University of Dance and Circus and Dance Forum in Sweden.
She began her choreographic career in earnest in 2009. She has presented works in numerous theaters, large and small, including the Dance New Amsterdam Theater, Chen Dance Center, City Center Studio, and Tank Theater in NY, as well as Dance Forum in Sweden and venues in Japan. She has also engaged in cross-genre creative activities, such as art collaborations using installations with glass artist Miho Ogai and co-producing the art performance ‘B’cause,’ expanding the boundaries of her work.
She has now returned to Japan and shifted her base of operations to the Kansai region. As a dance instructor, performer, and choreographer, she teaches NY Style Contemporary Dance classes at Dance Studio Point in Shinsaibashi, Osaka, Acco Space $\mu$, Box169, and Uesugi Mayu Ballet Studio, instructing a wide range of students from junior levels to professionals.
She is a director of Artistic Crosse Collaborators of Dance (AccoDance), a project-based contemporary dance company founded in 2019. They are actively expanding their reach, notably by being selected for the Contemporary Dance Association of Japan’s Creative Space event at the U Forum Museum in Kunitachi, Tokyo, for two consecutive years in 2024 and 2025.
Furthermore, her extensive experience in the educational field includes serving as a special part-time lecturer for many years at Osaka Prefectural Hirakata Nagisa High School, conducting special courses at Seika University and Osaka University of Health and Sport Sciences dance clubs, and serving as a judge for the Dance Gala OSAKA hosted by the Osaka Women’s Physical Education Federation.
